Descrierea bugului / Bug description: Formula de damage reduction este gresita putin.
Dovada / Proof:

http://i50.tinypic.com/5ov7tf.jpg -> hunterul cu care am dat; arcul este cel cu care incepi jocul cu damage 2-4 si speed 2.3
Se vede ca sunt spec marks, deci am si artisan quiver (15% increase la auto-shot), restu talente am decat 1 pct in Go for the Throat.

Ce average damage trebuia sa dau: [(1137 + 1140)/2] * 1.15 = ~1309 ok pana aici, am testat pe dummy si merge bine.
Acum pe warrior se vede ca dau average damage 1118, care impartit la 1309 ne da 0.854087 => damage-ul primit este ~85.41% din total. Adica armura mi-a redus damage-ul cu 14. 59%. La vreo 23k armor diferenta este cam de 10%.

Formula pt armura : Reduction = Armor / (Armor + Level * 2167.5 - 158167.5) (Sursa aici).

Acum avand in vedere ca target-ul meu avea level 85, formula se poate reduce destul de simplu: reduction = armor / ( armor + 26070). Cu un calcul usor se vede ca tooltip-ul din joc de la armura indica valoarea corecta.

Acum cu formula asta simpla, singura valoare care ar putea sa fie gresita este 26070, adica exact partea asta din formula Level * 2167.5 - 158167.5

Dupa unele calcule in loc de 26070 din cauza greselii din formula ne da ~17521, numar care l-am verificat la 3 valori diferite de armura (23k, 6.9k, 11.9k) si variaza foarte foarte putin si asta din cauza ca nu am calculat cu turma de zecimale.

poate daia si dau pe warriori 8k critical cu ms si 6k cu overpower.Sa nu mai zik ca deeep wounds da 586 pe tick:))...adica...inteleg ca e nerf de patch dar asta e transformare in warr de lk...ma rog nvm, gg pentru post chiar vroiam sa fac si eu testul asta cu armura.

Da Tamaie, normal ca este de acolo diferenta.
Ca sa o si demonstrez...in momentul de fata cum ziceam in formula este gresita partea aia, in loc de 26070 la level 85 este ~17521(nu e 100% corect...sunt numere mari, multe zecimale, dar este ok cat sa iti faci idee).
Din cauza asta dummy alea nici nu au damage reduction, desi ele au armura 10k, 20k, etc.
Calculand, la 23.000 armor si level 85 ar trebui sa ai 23000 / (23000 + 26070) = 46.87 % damage reduction
In momentul de fata la 23.000 armor si lvl 85 ai 23.000 / ( 23000 + 17521) = 56.76 % damage reduction

Daca tu dai colossus smash pe 1 player, care ii ignora 50% din armor, din 23k ramane cu 11.5k armor; ok pana aici.
Din cauza formulei gresite vom avea: 11500 ( 11500 + 17521) = 39.62 % damage reduction - haios nu ?

Bine, nu va faceti iluzii, nerful la CS este destul de major in pvp; pentru ca armura cu cat ai mai putina cu atat ai mai mult damage reduction per punct de armura. Din cauza asta 11500 armor nu inseamna nicidecum jumatate din damage reduction-ul de la 23.000 armor, ci 30% damage reduction; asta cand o sa fie corecta formula.

The issue is related directly to characters armor but not npcs armor. And i can confirm that issue.

Well i've made a test on a dummy and a character with equal stats and damage wise i do about 2 times more on a dummy.

thats why...
and yet dummies doesnt have armor haha

Also have to test armor+resil together.

"Its multiplicative.

When you have multiple damage reduction abilities, for example if you have 43% damage reduction from resillience, 50% damage reduction from armor, and say 20% damage reduction from barkskin/pain sup/etc., you do not then have 113% damage reduction.

Whatever hits you is reduced by 43%, the remainder is reduced by another 50% (assuming that the class gets no passive armor penetration from mastery/talents, or an ability like colossus smash is up), then the following remainder is reduced by another 20% from your defensive cooldown. Whichever comes first in this line of damage reduction doesn't matter, as the same amount will be reduced regardless of which variable in the function is executed in which order.}"
