Arena Season

First off, the people who exploit their classes to gain as much rating atm as possible dont even bother to reply to this
This post is to request GM's to reset the arena season when classes have been stabilized, from the many people
i have already spoken too they all agree that it should be done but dont take my word for it, simply create a poll and see the result.

atm all the "top teams" exploit their classes to gain as much rating as possible, rank 1 team on exodus - lock/rsham
lock pet (fel hunter) hitting 10k on 4.4k resi - seems legit, rsham out healing with almost just earth shield up (on my previous server the co-efficiency of earth shield with mastery was bugged, gained too much so perhaps its the same here)
lock pet (fel hunter - spell lock) interupting immune cast, seems legit. my vicious geared feral hit a 5.1k resi target for 24k so wtf
but you get my point, not gonna do a bug report here

just consider the poll, and haters you can just stfu, no one cares about your opinion or the fact that you enjoy your exploiting and acting pro cause of it.
and to be honest all the top teams should welcome the idea in my opinion cause then it will be true pvp and not being carried by bugs.

The 2v2 bracket is a broken one.
We will not focus on arena seasons on that one, we will most probably organize them in the 3v3 bracket after the classes have been balanced.
So, all-in-one, 2v2 is nothing, 3v3 is beast.

yah there are some really gamebreaking bugs, just to list some:

feral drood:

- bleed damage is imba atm
- ferocious bite seems to ignore all armor

warloc:

- i was testing with a demo warlock and a felhunter pet , the pet was doing 24k crits on my 4k resi pala
- i was dpsing same warlock on my hunter.. he outhealed my 5k dps with lifedrain..

arcane mage:

- seen some mages do 100-190k arcan blasts crits.. is that normal?

then why dont you close the 2's bracket ? I myself like 3s more but what can you do when they are mostly win traded ,should we sit 24/7 in que hoping to face someone?

Dumb ? Why ? Because we do not want to give Gladiator in a idiotic bracket ? Oh, I see now.

We ban wintraders or hackers or whatever in the 2v2 bracket, we just do not give away any titles/mounts/end season prizes or whatever on that one.

About the closure of 2v2 bracket, we won't force you to join 3v3, but we can tell you that the only way to get a good 'prize' (if I may say so) is through that bracket.

Raster the issue is not pvp titles , is about how some players are exploiting bugs in their classes to farm arena and get gear. the issue is unfair and that several players think that the whole season should be closed and opened once thoe gamebreaking exploits are fixed.

Just imagine 2 ferals and r Shammy in 3v3, or even 3 ferals, u lose in matter of seconds . I also think earth shield is bugged, it heals way too much...

I have destro warlock over 385 ilvl and can't over dps stupid earth shield, sometimes i do , but its rarely ... and yeah im not that big noob.. u just cant outdps it

So you want us to delete all the Cataclysmic gear when this is over ?
We can't do that, the 2s bracket doesn't allow you to get any better gear if you are very very high rated, so in the end, everyone is going to have the same gear.
Us deleting gear will not be a proper solution.
Trust me that no one is going to get the elite set by wintrading and most probably they also won't get it because of bugged classes. In 3s a feral can't make the difference, it's just about who knows what to do and who doesn't.
I agree that certain comps are better than others.

@Sekiman: double feral in 3s ? They have just damage, CC is DR'd hard, I think that any comp can beat that.
Double something isn't viable at all.

sekimanx hmm...ilvl 285 lock? hmm..isnt that ICC gear or something? anyway..about ferals.only thing bugged about ferals is fbite, it ignores 80% of oponents armor..rip and rake are working good in dependants of ferals mastery lol.
on 20k armor and 4k resil dummy my rip hits for 6k and rake for 3k with 24 mastery?IS THAT OP?! and im getting 40+ mind spikes from each freakin shadow prist.

once again.. no one is talking about deleting gear .. im talking about closing the whole season .. stop the reset cap till the gamebreaking bugs are fixed.. and once again this isnt about 2v2 .. i dunno why you are so fixated in 2v2 .. this is about the arenas in general.. you think that in 3v3 ferals do normal damage? or that locks pets dont hit for 25-30k crits?... i have done 3v3 with a feral in our team.. i got so damn sick of how broken arenas in wowfreak became that i left that team.

so forget about 2v2 , or 3v3.. there are gamebreaking bugs going on atm and im asking for the staff to take action: either fix them all within 3 days (before next reset) or just stop doing arena cap resets till the bugs are fixed .. is not fair for all the players that dont play bugged classes that you guys keep feeding them free gear (yeah any feral team is basically getting free gear atm)

so either fix it or close it .. things cant keep going as they are.

(and the "is gonna be fixed someday" excuse doesnt work anymore.. gives us a date it is gonna be fixed)

Im rank 8 atm... been rank 3 (2s), but stopped playing for rating/rank, due to constant ferals either rshamans in que, so gg but without me.

I have np with resetting the season, once all classes are balanced, cause right now in top 10 there are 8 teams that don't deserve this and got carried by bugs. Kk tnx bye

closing ques would kill the server since theres nothing more to do in the server. As for the feral it's retarded you guys shoulda fixed it in the PTR now the ladder is broken as fuk, bad players getting big ratings. And tbh when classes are more balanced the staff should organise something more in 3s, adding like a mount/tabard vendor. For example Swift Spectral Tiger for 2050 PR/TR in 3v3 n etc..

yah , the issue is that they cant delete gear or the player base will be mad at the staff .. i think the best solution would be to freeze arena caps (so no one gets more even arena points .. aka gear .. seens some players with 3-4 cata pieces already and some with t2 weapons..likely donations tho.) they could do a reset of the ratings before reopening the season too .. no gear has to be deleted in both cases.


I feel nothing gonna happen tho. atm my main concers are:

-feral drood (too many broken skills to number)
-lock's pets (demo + fellhunter = 20-25k pet crits)
-arca mages ( 170 arc blast? )
