Regarding the reputation to vote points convertion

Is there any specific reason you chose exactly 30 reputation for the reputation to vote points convertion? Why not any amount(up to 30) we want or 5 or something else?

Every nab on the forum can get 5 rep points (look at me), and 30 Vote Points is almost the minimum required to buy some item in there.
