mm pvp hunter question

whats the major difference between a monkey and spider in rbg's/arena's. I am a heavy cc'er.

Spider's Web can be removed by Freedom, Master's Call, Monkey stun can't.

Makes sense, but the question that comes to mind now is this. whats a good pet to use against casters? for mm

ya for silencing casters or healers when they break los, because my current hunter is belf I got cqc silencing but no range when los is broken. as for my original hunter which is undead.

Well I can't rly think of any pet that has silence spell right now, but it's proven in time that monkies are best for MM.
U can still use it if the target is in LoS as long as your monkey is on it.
Also traping out of a monkey stun is much more accurate and harder for intercepting then traping out of Scater.

typical hunter pet arsenal:

spider for web
monkey for BLIND.. not stun.
bird for disarm
nether ray for silence
cat or wolf for buff

yes this is a 1 year old necro, b ut considered how empty this section is, i don't wish hunters to come in here.. and not have this information

ps: learn to swap between pets in mid fight

Very true, one of the key reasons I made this thread. I didn't find one in the hunters section for pvp pets and what not. on a semi-detailed manner.

As mm , between monkey and spider , i'd go for monkey any day. Blind is more effective as ppl above me said and can't be removed by freedom and such , only by Blessing of protection as far as i remember .. so yeah go for monkey !

Spider's web its just an immobilize effect while monkeys blind is a far more better cc.I'd choose a monkey anytime over a spider,its like an extra scatter shot.
