Lag When in Combat/Raids

Just today I've started having some messed up lag - whether it's @ End Time, or Baradin Hold, and I'm assuming also on Dragon Soul.

I'm a non Romanian player who plays @ Genesis.

So far, no one from our guild is experiencing the same problem.


Any reasons why this is happening?

I can also browse websites w/o any problems. It's just WoW that has lag.


PS: I don't know if the problem is with my own internet - I'm using a wifi and I can browse/play games on my iPad with virtually NO lag at all.

I seem to get lag/fps drops whenever i am in a raid group that is larger than 10 people, if i am with =<10 players everything works fine, 11th guy joins and all hell breaks loose.

Same problem with me too.when ever i Enter in 25 men raid I freeze like 1-2 sec on a single place.Be it Mob fight or Boss fight.
And you have to Believe me AV Fps lag is worst Stuck at same Place For like 10 sec.
Well this wasn't the Problem Before back in 4.0.6.
or Few days Earlier when we just had FL thrash open and BH (Alizabal)
IDK since the day DS bosses came Up i have Fps Lag Now and then every where.
Waiting for Some good solution.

Router has been reset 3x.
Cleared cache 2x.
Whether I am using 1 char, or 2 chars (dualboxed) = doesn't matter, still lagging when I enter boss combat.

Did a BH = took me 4-5 minutes just to loot the boss (after it died) - thankfully the raid was patient and stayed and didn't think anything bad.


It just happened today actually. I've been leading dozens of raids each week w/o this problem.

Resetting your router doesn't bring you a better internet connection, cache has nothing to do with this.
The best thing you can do is call your ISP and tell them that they have problems with peering in Europe (Romania especially), maybe this will be fixed faster.

Yes, I always say this because this is exactly why you have those problems. If the WHOLE server lags it is a problem coming FROM US, if some people in certain parts of the Earth lag it IS NOT a problem that comes from our side. You should really learn to make the difference.
And also, I believe I told you also to call your ISP and tell them about the problem instead of waiting, usually time solves everything but there are cases in which time is not the problem. You maybe do that also and see what happens afterwards.
And now I repeat: if YOU and 3 more people from a random place on Earth ARE LAGGING it is a problem that comes from YOUR SIDE.

You're the type of guy who always complains, he wants to have everything while doing nothing (or while playing World of Warcraft in this particular case). Learn to listen to the ones who maybe now more than you.

Wanna know the funny part?

I told them about my net having problems connecting to a server in Romania.

i did. nation with the biggest rate of IPv6 native connections. Owned ivan.

Lag in a group can also be from another player in your group with crappy internet,It can affect others around you.

ok raster i called em he sent packages and ur side didnt recieve em he said the problem is 200% from u or some middle connection between u an d me,i told u that its not from my isp...and no muscles dont solve everything but they can solve ur cocky keyboardfighter attitude

Now, about the topic:
I have no lag issues in a party/raid group, but I still do FPS ones while in raids bigger than 10. Whenever someone joins the raid, i get a 1 seconds freeze, and during the boss fight, my FPS won't go over 5 (not entirely the server's fault, there's still my bad PC). And if I was the only one with those problems, I would be fine with it, but since I'm not, I'm reporting it for n'th time here.

i doubt that im being cocky,i just got mad cuz i know the problem aint from me and raster keeps telling me otherwise,but from what the isp guys told me if its a middle connection ill just have to cope with it
