Descrierea bugului / Bug description: Starsurge da damage prea mare.
Formula este in felul urmator:
Minim damage: 1018 + 1.228*SP
Maxim damage: 1404 + 1.228*SP

Acum pentru un spell power de 9376 si doar cu Moonfury ar trebui sa avem un maxim damage de:
(1404+1.228*9376)*1.1 = 14209.5

In schimb pe Freakz am obtinut un maxim damage de 15286.

Este posibil ca Starsurge sa ia increase dublu din Moonfury, adica in loc de 10% sa primeasca 20% pentru ca Starsurge e considerat atat arcane damage, cat si nature damage. Nu e normal ca Starsurge sa ia increase dublu din Moonfury.

Maxim damage cu increase dublu din Moonfury:
(1404+1.228*9376)*1.2 = 15 501
Dupa cum vedeti aceasa valoare este apropiata de cea pe care am obtinut-o pe Freakz.

WoW Freakz Spell Finder + Moonfury.

E logic ca bonusul de 10% din Moonfury se aplica formulei pentru Starsurge. (formula pentru Starsuge de pe freakz spell finder este corecta).

Daca vrei ceva mai complex, gasesti aici. (acel excel, toate formulele din el sunt 100% corecte pentru patch-ul 4.3)

LE: Acel 1211 base damage care apare pe freakz spell finder este o medie intre minim damage si maxim damage (1018 si 1404, gasesti aceste valori putin mai jos) - Starsurge

I currently have almost bis gear for balance(only missing Insignia of the Corrupted Mind),and I`m hitting retailish damage tbh....11k base spell lets say 12k with food only(not counting procks).My current best hit was like 100k...my average is 36k-72k...so I don`t quite see anything wrong with it.
Originaly I was clearly expecting a pvp post..but u can`t rly cry about bigger damage in pve,especially if its working fine.Check any vid and give solid proof why u personaly think its wrong,every single one i`ve personaly seen the person had quite decent gear(simillar to mine) and was dealing pretty much da same damage.

Also wild theories with formulas aren`t helping unless u provide video proof or anything else...

I am pretty sure that Starsurge is getting a double bonus from Moonfury (20% instead of 10%).

If you don't believe me, go and unlearn all your talents and test the damage of Starsurge on the target dummy without any other talents of increase damage (only Starsurge + Moonfury) and without being in any eclipse state of course.

If you don't believe me, calculate the maximum damage with a base damage of 1404, and with 10% increase from Moonfury and notice that the maximum damage is a little bit too high. (also without any 2p or 4p T13 bonus and without the legendary staff).

Starsurge should do less damage than Starfire.

For your theory to properly work..starfire needs to be properly fixed..and actually starsurge should be at like 20-30k below(with 4 piece and staff even..)beneath Starfire.And because of the low damage it does ur thinking its doing too much...just stop...its bad as it is...a damage nerf without having the rest of the spells work would not end well...even geared balances with 2 piece don`t do too much.

What's Starfire has to do with Starsurge?
I tested the damage only with Moonfury bonus, no other talents, no staff, no 2p or 4p balance bonus, no eclipse state.

What don't you understand in:

Minim damage: (1018 + 1.228*SP)*1.1
Maxim damage: (1404 + 1.228*SP)*1.1

1018 - minim bonus damage
1404 - maxim bonus damage
1.228 - coefficient (122.8%)
SP - spellpower
1.1 - Moonfury bonus (10%)

Tell me, what's so hard to understand?

Merge bine formula de baza, cu spell power gain.
Am testat si moonfury, merge bine si ala.
(cand zic testat nu ma refer ca am dat cateva hituri si am facut medie/etc, m-am uitat efectiv in core sa vad cum calculeaza si calculeaza bine)
Singura explicatie e ca ai alte aure de damage increase pe tine / e de la niste iteme (sau a pus altcineva vreun damage taken increase pe dummy?). Incearca sa mai faci niste teste fara nici un item pe tine, calculeaza iar maximul si vezi daca treci peste el. Daca treci peste maxim, pune un gm sa dea .list aura pe tine si sa imi dea lista cu toate aurele (asa cum le arata comanda cu tot cu info)
