D'oh realm transfer?

What happened to the old free realm transfers? They used to be, well, free - back in the old days if you had chars in Genesis going to Exodus.
Now they're 150 vote points each.

Since when was this? D'oh!

Oh by the way last time I did a realm transfer (Exodus going to Genesis) - it was via donations, and (I can't remember much though) but I believe I kept most items in character bags and bank.

Is it the same case when realm transferring via the website, or some items get lost? Or are there some character bugs to watch out for?

Well you can transfer them on Exodus, so character must be at least level 70. Only Genesis, Evolution(if you have any char there) to Exodus.
Or another way, you can always transfer through the voting page or the wow shop! /cheer

A quick question for everyone again:

What's the status of PVE and the realms in general - ie. comparing Genesis and Exodus.

My characters are all in Genesis at the mean time, however I do have enough vote points to transfer them to Exodus if needed.

It's been 6 months since I last played though - how's the general progress of PVE for both realms?
I'm not talking about high-end PVE clearing content, or realm first contests; just general PUG or player knowledge.
(Example: "Can PUGs in Exodus clear DS bosses on 10 normal mode, or are the players in Genesis better?"

Another would be realm stability - are there multiple DCs/rollbacks on Exo compared to Genesis, or the other way around?

I'm planning on some casual gaming in the mean time as well.

Genesis got more active players I guess, there are quite few competitive guilds there. Can't tell you nothing more since I don't speak romanian and I'm not on Genesis at all. However pugs on exodus are clearing 4/4 normal + 2-3/4 heroic. There aren't much competitive guilds: 3 alliance and 2 hordes (as far as I know).

Hello Mr. Ashcool.

Unfortunately I'm not this Marph you speak of - although I've heard from other's he's quite a huggable person. I'd like to meet him someday.

Well, that news sounds good - looks like I, Powerman (no relation to this Marph fellow), will be treading waters and checking out how casual raiding goes in the meantime.

By the way:
Is it just you and Nyssandra remaining here from (WotLK) - like everyone went poof (gone!) from both Horde and Alliance guild from back there?

Quick important bump - people are getting disconnected if they click my name in the raid group; and my correct class does not show up (for example my priest shows up as a druid).

How does this get fixed? And has anyone encountered this bug before after realm transfer?

Oh god lol.. I ended up ruining like 4 BH raids without knowing what's going on.

Dang... WTB server crash.

Do I still need to do anything on my end like unstuck all transferred chars / delete Cache and WTF folders?

PS: Realm transfers are every Monday right?

PPS: I joined a raid yesterday with Ash - BH 25 - players got dc/error once, and not again after that. But today every player keeps dcing for multiple times after logging back.
