- The tooltip says that it should start by dealing one attack that hits all nearby targets for 150% weapon damage, THEN do a Whirlwind attack every second for 6 seconds. Whirlwind is an AoE attack that deals 65% weapon damage. So the way Bladestorm should work is deal 150% weapon damage then 65% weapon damage (the Whirlwind damage) every sec for 6 seconds.

- Bladestorm's damage is considered "Whirlwind" damage.
- In patch 4.1 Whirlwind was buffed to get its CD reduced when it hits 4 targets+. In the patch notes Blizzard mentions how the Whirlwind effect that Bladestorm is based on remained unchanged, meaning that Bladestorm damage does Whirlwind's damage. - In this post made during 4.3.4 on mmo-champion, Bladestorm's damage is discussed. So:

In a lot of 4.3.4 PvE guides, it is mentioned that using Bladestorm is useless until there are 4 targets or more. If Bladestorm did 150% weapon damage on every hit, then it would be worth using if there are at least 2 targets (since Mortal Strike on its own deals 188% weap damage, Bladestorm on 2 targets would deal 300%). However, since Bladestorm did 65% weapon damage every second for 6 seconds, it's not worth using until there are 4 or more targets. Stii ca pentru testul asta tot ce trebuie sa faci e sa dai un bladestorm, nu conteaza gear nu conteaza stats conteaza doar sa vezi daca primul tick de bs e acelas cu restul.

Nu inteleg ce legatura are whirlwind, abilitate care se gaseste in fury speel book, care da 80% weapon damage (atat e defapt ingame) cu amandoua armele si care costa 25 rage cu bladestorm abilitate care se gaseste in arms spell book. Doar pentru ca in descrierea bladestrom-ului apare cuvantul whirlwind asta nu inseamna ca are legatura cu abilitatea whirlwind de la fury
