Ok let me give an example - i want to give name Bandolero to my character. There is human rogue who was online for the last time on 15th January 2012... Cool name taken - player have not played more than 2 years...

I know people who haven't logged for a very long time and they're now back to the game. Why should they lost their nicknames? I think a good idea's to find another "cool" name for your character. (:

It's not about not logging on for 2 years, when cataclysm was implemented on freakz or at least 4.3.4 ( don't recall) there was a certain cleanup from very inactive characters. It seems that people would just log on and off on them every now and then just to make sure they are not deleted.

how come there are characters that are not logged for 800 days on exodus?
