Hey,

I've been playing on this server for quite a while now, and I have never been able to do raids. -
The problem I experience when joining a raid is the following:

- MAJOR fps drop (like 1 frame per 10 sec)
- World of Warcraft error (which automatically closes my WoW)
- Disconnection

Does anyone have tips or tricks to remove the problems above?

Thanks, best regards

ps, I made this topic because I couldn't find any topics directly related to raid joining fps drops etc

Considering your problem, I"d suggest you to do the following things in order to fix the issue:
- Delete your Cache folder situated at "C:Program FilesWoW FolderCache" - your wow path
- Disable your addons temporarily.

theres a macro that lowers the scale of your floating combat text or you can try and just disable it, since it sometimes has a big part in it

I've also encountered this problem for the past few days.
I've already cleared cache, disabled most addons, used 3rd party programs that boost my net speed, and used the macros posted here to increase FPS.

Back on Sunday I first did a 10hc (no problems) --> when I joined a 25hc (lagged like a boss) --> I joined a 25N instead (lagged like a boss also, but less chance of a critical mistake since it was a normal raid) ---> finally another 10hc (again, no problems).

I assumed I only had problems on 25man raids- and I ended up joining a 25N PUG yesterday (no problems).

I can't really say for certain if it has anything to do with my internet (since I disabled all WiFi devices so nothing can leech off of it).
There might be a chance it has something to do with the server population? I admit I'm not an expert about these things.
What I heard before was that "more people connected to the server at one time" --> means connections from far away (ie. Myself @ Philippines) tend to become "less prioritized".

Bioshock: Infinite (max settings)
Shogun 2: Total War (very high)
Assassin's Creed IV (very high)
Rome 2: Total War (high)

So... very not bad... -

I doubt the problem comes from the user side only considering I used to drop all settings to Low whenever I join a 25 raid, no matter DS, BH or FL, normal or heroic just so that I can have around 15/20 FPS. However a week ago I joined some 25n DS and forgot to lower the settings so the fight started and I actually had around 25 FPS with all settings at ultra (as I usually keep 'em).

its obviously server side since i had no problems raiding on retail with the same pc during Cata or MoP on any difficulty. And as you can see, he has problems right after joining the group, not entering the instance, and it is happening to a big part of the population.
