What's the deal with the handicapped version of "Cluster Clutch" ?

At first glance, when I noticed that this quest was added, I immediately though that it will be messed up and frustratingly unbalanced and to my dismay, I was right.

Let's disect the issue and discuss it piece by piece

1) Why don't the Heroic versions of the bosses drop any clusters ? And don't you give me that bullshit excuse "that's how it is on retail", because it's not. The people running the server showed numerous times that their aim is to create a blizz-like experience, then why is the server shooting itself in the foot by doing this ?

2) The amount of Shadow Gems created by the Clusters that bosses drop is absolute crap. The blizzard drop rate is 3-9 Shadow gems from each Cluster, while here they are ALWAYS 3-4. This "snowballs" the previous issue mentioned above even more, since the heroics don't drop Clusters and the actual Shadow Gems you gain are less than they should be.

3) The missing bosses are just the cherry of the cake when combined with everything that I mentioned, since theoretically, you are missing out on 12-36 additional gems per week.


Now, let's do some math
The first week, while being extremely lucky, I managed to get 35 Gems. I need 333 to complete the quest, so this means I need 9.5 times the amount I got from the first week (35x9.5=332.5)
Mind you, I had extreme luck, and getting 35 gems a week is the best case scenario, and I don't think everyone will be able to earn exactly 35 gems per week.
Realistically speaking, 23-30 would be the amount of gems that most people will get.

So, worst case scenario - 90-100 days to complete ( a bit over 3 months)
Best case scenario -70 days to complete ( a bit over 2 months)



I really want to hear a logical explanation as to why this is the reality. Was it a mistake from the devs ? Is this suppose to encourage people to donate for the daggers since it will take ages for them to get them the right way ?

And for 2), I can completely confirm that the number of Shadowy Gems dropping doesn't go pass 4, I killed 6/6 on Thursday, got 6 clusters, all 6 dropped 3-4. At least that should be blizzlike, or even a bit more 'freakzlike' because of the 2 missing bosses.
