La aproape 17 ani, Theodora Gãiceanu este elevã în clasa a zecea, la Colegiul Naþional „Mihail Kogãlniceanu“ din Galaþi. A avut curajul sã aplice la un Salon de Inventicã important din oraº ºi pânã la urmã a ieºit cum nu se poate mai bine pentru ea: a fost rãsplãtitã de juriul Salonului UGAL-INVENT cu premiul pentru „Cel mai tânãr inventator”. Theodora a participat în acest concurs cu un detector de mine bazat pe o platformã autonomã. Povestea din spatele acestui dispozitiv este una interesantã.
