My friend lured me to freakz some time ago in past but I left Freakz only because:

1. Website is mess to navigate and it kills my sight. Everything is just thrown and it doesn't look professional.

2. Forum is even worse than website. To make it even harder, everything is in Romanian and I can't understand anything! If I wanted to ask for support, I feel like I would spend few hours before I even found contact button.

3. There where random bugs on my character for no reason, like crashing while walking, which finished with me unable to spawn that hero anymore.


My advice: If you want more players, make your website and forum extreemly tidy! When customer decides to give product a try, it always looks at the box first! Professional box gives feeling of professional product!

If you need custom coded phpBB template, I have 3.0.12. one that looks sick! I made if for pentesting group I used to be in last year

Since Molten is down and all my heroes deleted, I decided to give Freakz another chance, only because I have read website and forums will be re-organized and updated visually.

It would be nice to have my gear and heroes from molten back here, but Shockeru said its only possible for new players(considering I have old hero on freakz)




P.S. please hurry with MoP, I wanna play WoW >< Its February already!

I've had this account for some time but just really started playing. It's a nice server better then I thought it would be for a high rates server. I hope MoP server will be just as good. Also I would like to know if Genesis will be upgraded to mop or open a new realm?

Shocker wrote on some of his youtube teasers MoP test realm will be released at the beginning of February. Its middle of February now and latest new post said in one week max.

We are working as fast as we can, we have over 500+ bugs at the Fixed/closed bugs , and that is only from the ones reported, there are a lot more bugs fixed without posting them on the forum

So simpy we will have to wait for another week or two. It is taking quite some time but I am sure that the staff is doing great job.

isn't the whole point of having a ptr getting people to report the bugs they run into while playing there? =P
keep on doing a good job freakz, I believe we won't be dissapointed once you release it.


as for "too many romanian players", if you stick to global_en, you will still find a sufficient number of (somewhat) english speaking people to play with. then there are your own friends, mates, buddies, guildies... more than enough.

if I am not mistaking, there was some talk of splitting the servers back to international and romanian if there would be a high enough number of players. so, if freakz opens the realm(s) any time soon, they still might get some molten "refugees" and that plan might become reality.

imo, the cata realm is not worth hanging onto. most of the players here are sick of cata and want something new. those who have yet to join are probably in the same situation - either they already played cata somewhere and want a change or they already played MoP somewhere but it didn't work out for them. in any case, I believe most of the freakz population would opt for MoP over cata.

in case freakz does the job good as they have done by now (I've been here for pretty much the last 2 years), I don't see a reason why others wouldn't move here. you have monster-wow who had a solid 5.0.5 but they updated to 5.4.8 without fixing the basic stuff (imagine realising your character can't perform basic stuff like crit ) and lost over 1000 (probably more than 2000) of players within 2 days. those people probably moved to molten after monster failed. and with the situation molten is in right now, even their old players don't believe such a thing won't happen again. that leaves people looking for another good server. so hurry up freakz and reap, well, other servers' failures

I don't really know why people would even consider playing MoP over Cata. Not to mention Cata has been up and running for years and it's become really bland as of late.

And yeah, the purpose of the PTR is for people to report bugs they encounter in the game, but at this point there are many spells/abilities that do nothing in-game so it would be best to fix those glaring issues before releasing the PTR and having hundreds of threads revolved around "spell X not working".

I don''t think MOP will be that much bugged. Its easier to script MoP than CATA.

And yes, I prefer MoP over CATA. But that's my taste.
