Firelands (Cataclysm "raid")

So, I have been thinking and was wondering... why not open Firelands for transmog runs? There is very little to be gained there anyway now since it is no longer part of the latest expansion. It would only be a fun thing to do for getting transmog junk to looks unique. Especially since people can not vote for the Firelands gear since the item ilvl has to be between 20 and 372, while Firelands is ilvl 378

I don't think there is much need of scripts there anyway, since the Pandaria gear makes that people have tons of HP compared to Cataclysm, thus making scripting this rather pointless anyway. Just bosses / trash with proper damage will be fine for the transmog hunters.

not going to happen. i've already suggested this a few months back when they were taking questions just before MoP. i got a 'maybe' response. then a few weeks ago some guy complained about how yogg isnt working in ulduar(which keeps you from getting the achieve and a lot of cool loot) and was told to drop it.

its an ego thing, they dont want to put in the bosses as a tank and spank because it would 'drag the servers quality down' or some crap. as if anyone determines the quality of the server by how old expansion pack bosses work. its really shitty that its not even allowing you to vote for them since they didnt raise the 372 ilvl ceiling from cata(even then they'd probably ask for 150 points for 1 item which is ridiculous to vote for more than 2 weeks for a single item). firelands is basically a treasure trove of transmog items and you have 0 access to it because 'reasons'. i mean there are other older raids that you cant get items from normally, like some bosses in sunwell, some argent tournament modes or akama in bt, but at least you can vote for those and they dont cost an arm and a leg. not to mention raid finder items or dragon soul items.

im amazed they even repaired Halls of reflection.

You should understand that there are much more important things to script (like current content) rather then old raids. Releasing tank and spank encounters makes close to non-sense and yes its definitely gonna bring the server quality down. Lots of old content gets repaired/released - slowly but still. As for raising the ilvl cap of transmog gear to 416, I believe many people want that, that said just open topic about that matter.

oh i get that. though i admit that i am biased. i dont really do much PVE stuff so i dont really care if current content is done next week or next month. talents and class related bugs are the priority of course.

fact is that crap like this benefits no one. players cant get the items and the server cant brag about having raids available. at least having them available as tank and spank would benefit the players who want the items. shoot, even if no tank and spank for firelands then at least for the sunwell, ulduar and bt missing bosses. i even understand them not adding really complicated stuff like gunship in icc since that cant be done anyway. the 'it'll drag the servers quality down' is bs as well. no one is going to look at 7 or 5 year old instances, that can be run solo anyway scripted or not, to judge the server. also they arent afraid of false advertising(which really drags the server down), why would they be afraid of this?

Maybe @Shocker @Rageless will consider having newly hired developers to script missing old content as an entry level test or something and/or increase ilvl for vote shop gear to lets say 397?
Sounds much better then tank and spank imo.

Most "developers" that came in contact with us are like "yes, i'm doing this ofc" and after a few days they disappear or very expensive for one boss and we don't know if its 100% blizzlike or bugged as hell.
