Possible idea for later on during near end game of SoO?

I realize we are still in early development, but its just a far fetched idea. I think a wonderful way for the use of Lesser Charms of Good fortune and its exchange for warforge seals. Since the loot system seems different to work differently than on retail, how about since we have Sha/Galleon quest and others similar in the future to come out, use the charms gathered through dailies for example 10Charms:1seal. it could like the quests for sha and galleon be a collection quest like 25 seals = 250 charms which is equivalent to 250 dailies. Now since there's such a large vast of reputable quest out there that give charms as rewards (Shadowpan for example) it could be an effective way to give players something to do after there 15 rdfs and 2 short raids. It not only gives players a reason to WANT, but also a need to.

Another Crazy Idea is Scenario Quest with a bag as well.


So if i had to break it down: 1 War Forged Seal = 25 Less Charms of Good Fortune

10 seals for one Random Epic Item Bag Similar to ones Given by Sha/Galleon/RDF(15)

10 Seals is equivalence of 250 charms. ( which is more than enough for an entire weeks worth od doing dailies)

Scenarios should also have a quest as well " Complete All the Scenarios Listed Bellow " It would encourage many to try out the hard work Freakz's developers did on them and enjoy some of Mist of pandaria's rich lore.

In total that would be 4-5 Epic items a week at complete random, so you have 4 or 5 chances depending if the scenario quest is implemented. Not only a great way to gear people to get to enjoy Some end phase product, but as well give them ANOTHER reason to invest there time socializing in random/organized groups doing things in much more Fulfilling way. (Also if freakz really does make an amazing MoP that could top the rest I'm more than positive we could expect 2 Realms for all the abundance of players who will come in to see what all the hype is about this amazing server and how its true!)

I Know its kind of silly since we already have 3 options to do weekly, yet they seem like there's really no enjoyment in doing them its more of a chore than anything and its gets done too fast and easy. The scenarious and the Dailies idea would at least give those who already have gotten done with everything else something to do. Thanks have a wonderful day!

In my opinion i dont think this would be a great idea and the staff might reject it ( they have more important stuff to do such as scripting bosses / leftover of classes ) but hey we still got a long run untill siege of orgrimmar so who knows

I think what you suggested won't make sense by the time of SoO. On retail lesser charms are traded via weekly quest at a ratio 50:3 charms to seals. As for the rest @ SoO people will only grind scenarios for valor cap and will gear up true timeless and world bosses since RDF gear will be completely useless compared to timeless gear.

I see your Point, Mr/ms. Ashcool, but at least to me from playing some what of a little MoP On retail right before WoD came out. I believe that was one of the mistakes that blizzard did with Mop was adding timeless isles. in which devalued the importance of RDF's and factions all together.Now that dose not mean it shouldn't be implemented, but If anything the factions/reputations were only good for a few recipes,mounts, and a few other nick knacks here and there right after timeless was released. Scratching the part of any compensation i still believe it would be a good idea to give some importance to what blizzard didn't. The RDF bag was a an amazing idea, as well as the sha and galleon weekly's, because its a great way for progression in item level enabling an individual to participate in other activities with fellow faction members. But like in any Online RPG you run out of things to grind for. 15 rdf's 2 raid bosses and a few scenarios. By the time you get weekly capped you have nothing to do but sit there and wait till a reset, because you cant even farm Dailies, because the 15 rdfs got you valor capped and they become pointless to do.

Now in the phase where in, i at least believe something similar to the rdf bag should be done with Scenarios or Dailies.

In all honesty something more to do through out the week would be nice, you can get done with sha/galleon and 15 rdfs really quick. Espically if its organized correctly, doing a couple dailies and saving up some charms so in the end of the week to exchange them for a bag seems to me a good enough reason to go out there and do The Anglers, The August Celestials, The Golden Lotus, The Klaxxi, The LoreWalkers, The Order of the could serpent, The Kirin Tor Offensive/sunreaver Onslaught and even The Tillers.

Many people wont bother doing it, because it seems like a wasteful grind. They could instead be farming rdfs and scenarios. Giving them a reason to go out there and explore and actually see pandaria would do no harm if anything motivate them to see even more of world of warcraft itself.

Tell a man to go pick up some fire wood just to stay warm, and he will do it only half-willingly, for unless he is freezing he will find its importance very little. Tell a man its so you can cook a new fish for him to eat and he is sure to be more motivated to go get that fire wood then, as long as hes hungry of course.

Yeah I get your point, I'm just giving my .50 cent on the topic. Personally for me the timeless model works much better since I'm an alcoholic
Don't get me wrong its not criticism or anything remotely negative. Your suggestions are always welcome and I'm pretty sure staff members consider them all even if they don't get approved.
