LFR?

Hello,

This is the first time going to the Q&A section of this forum and i didn't really do that much research about LFR for this server, but my question follows:

''Will we ever be able to use the LFR Tool like RDF or RBG in the future?''

I asked sh0ker,he said that he doesn't see the point in implementing it,and this i cannot understand...
I think it would be a better way to gear up alts and new players than doing 10 rdf and 10 scenarios weekly (btw,that is the most boring thing here).
It would help newbies to learn the script for raids because the encounters would be easier than normal difficulty

As I mentioned in the topic you linked it won't be implemented for now, due to the fact that it will require too much of scripting to get this done. We clearly prefer to focus on regular content and release T15 in a timely manner.

But that would mean new scripts and alot more work currently they are developing 5.2 raid content since 5.1 raid content phase is over .

You can earn LFR gear easy by doing the quest that involve "10 dungeons + 10 scenarios" or you can join a good guild and make gear there. You can also try to make reputation with patch 5.2 factions.
You can also complete the weekly quests from Oondasta / Nalak for 522 ilvl gear.

My advice is to join a guild and earn your items there, you have a better chance to get 10/25 N items (ilvl 522) rather than raid finder items (502 ilvl)

You can also try to raise a profession suitable for you class and get some items from there too.

Like Ash said, scripting the LFR involve some resources and they are focusing ToT instance right now.

We've got debuffs on 5.1 content ( thats 502 / 509 ilvl ) and should be relatively easy to do now

The thing is that you can only get 1 LFR Item each week meanwhile on blizz if you kill 5 lfr bosses you can get 5 items .
I think that there are people who didnt killed Sha of Fear cause the boss it is too hard and casual players completely missed most of the PVE content while on blizz you dont even need a guild to do all the bosses in the game on LFR dificulty .
My opinion is that LFR would help the server alot , as i said many casual players didnt even killed the end boss from the previous phase .
Right now our server is not casual player friendly ...

If i can make a LFR sugestion here, instead of lowering the boss spells damage, you could give players a buff like :

retail : boss does damage x
lfr : boss does damage x - 30%

freakz : boss does damage x
lfr : players get 30% damage / healing increase buff.

Still , database wise , i can't think of nothing , except to make a low rate drop for the bag?

Basicaly , a new instance for LFR 25 in raidfinder, with bosses set for rf 25, no loot, no achievments, only the bag.
