Shadow pve stats

Hey there, I'm just asking for an opinion. Basically I've tested crit vs mastery lots of times, got allmost the same results in each case, I'd just want to know if there's a 515+ ilvl fellow spriest that could tell me how it works, in ToT n or hc. Best regards.

Short answer: Crit > Mastery

Long answer: Shadow has very complicated interactions between Crit and Mastery. In general, Crit yields (slightly) better results for single target. Solace and Insanity favors Mastery however (currently on Freakz we cannot clip MF:I just before DP expires so that kinda diminishes its value). The T-15 2-set bonus is good and scales better with Crit. Just find a hastecap your can comfortably reach in your gear. Then go for Crit, without totally neglecting Mastery. Mastery scales the best in multitarget fights. Mastery also indirectly increases the critchance of your dots. As ilvls increase (think SoO gear), Crit and Mastery will become closer in value (partially because of T16 setbonus).
