Bug description: Corruption tick from malefic grasp doesn't proc nightfall.
Proof:

Yes, MG's half-ticks can proc Nightfall.

If you do it right and get a bit lucky you can get 80%+ uptime on haunt. How nightfall works is that there is a base percent chance to proc on corruption and malefic grasp ticks. For every tick that doesn't proc nightfall the proc chance for the next tick goes up. How I've been playing it is cast haunt and let it fall but I don't wait for a nightfall proc. If I don't get a nightfall proc in a couple seconds after Haunt falls off then I recast Haunt anyway. I also do not refresh Haunt if it's already up and nightfall procs.

shocker,I couldn't test this perfectly,but I only got 5 or 6 soul shards from ~100 corruption+malefic grasp corruption ticks.
This is probably the bug that makes affliction so weak on single target compared to destruction

@shocker

probably when you fixed https://forum.wow-freakz.com/FIXED-Warlock-Affliction-Passive-Nightfall-proc-from-recently-applied-Corruption-t353765.html you reverted somehow this one, major downtime on haunt on target

I can't bring proofs but it's true.

Invalid, just tested with debug mode:
Quote:
[16:39:47] [DummyAuraProc]: spell = 108558, procSpell = 146739, effIndex = 0, unit = Shockeru, victim = Dr. Boom, originalCaster = Shockeru, damage = 3861, triggerAmount = 10, procFlags = 0x40000, procEx = 0x1000001

[16:39:47] [DummyAuraProc]: spell = 108558, procSpell = 131740, effIndex = 0, unit = Shockeru, victim = Dr. Boom, originalCaster = Shockeru, damage = 1158, triggerAmount = 10, procFlags = 0x10000, procEx = 0x800001

procspell 146739 is default Corruption DoT (3861 damage), procspell 131740 is the Malefic Grasp triggered corruption spell (the extra tick is actually a different spell, 131740), as you can see it did 1158 damage, exactly 30% of the original corruption 3861, proving it's the malefic grasp triggered tick
Code:
You cast Malefic Grasp Dr. Boom.
Your Corruption damaged Dr. Boom 3861 Shadow.
You cast Shadow Trance.
Your Shadow Trance energized You 1 (Soul Shard).
You cast Corruption Dr. Boom.
Your Corruption hit Dr. Boom 1158 Shadow.
You cast Shadow Trance.
Your Shadow Trance energized You 1 (Soul Shard).

But... I found another issue, the "your most recently applied corruption" mechanism was also applied to Malefic Grasp Corruption tick, but that shouldn't really happen (I think). Changed it to ignore that mechanism, should be ok now, it doesn't really matter if you cast Malefic Grasp on your most recently applied corruption or an older one, it would be the same in both situations, you can only have 1 MG active at a time
