let's discuss about feral

i want to talk here about it, because i don't know for sure if it's a bug to place it in bug report section

i think the feral damage is a joke here. Let's say we're tyrannical both gear and my dot's don't even get past absorbtions or passive heals. Plus, i think abilities don't take attack power into consideration . I did 4 screenshots:

1) feral spec with feral gear (agility) mangle hit 21k:

3) RESTO spec with resto gear (intellect!) mangle hit 19k:

Now for real, why does resto spec with intellect gear deal more damage than a feral with agility gear? and rip+rake output are ridiculous. I know ferals may be weaker this patch, but THIS weak?

Hello,
my druid is only honor geared, and the dmg seems "ok" altho i must admit sometimes it just feels too weak. I dont have much time to test that out but ill give it a try in the next few days.

we not in 5.4.8 yet, maybe in that patch the dmg will be fine

Currently Ferals are more then viable when it comes to PvE. However I'm clueless about PvP.
There are few things you need to gather as information before you can open a bug report:
- Compare specific abilities vs same abilities on Blizzard (Same patch - 5.2) - Take some proofs (shots, videos, etc.)
- Try to be detailed as much as possible (formulas, logs, shots, videos)

There are few more but those tips are enough to submit relevant bug report that won't be auto rejected.

i tried to search for 5.2 spell formulas, but haven't found them, there are only shown from the latest patch on blizz (i`m not good at searching things like this either)

i`m curious about other ferals how they handle in competition. Now that we are left without non-cast cyclone, we barely have any CC (only stuns which DR each other) and the damage doesn't help either

i tried on the dummy full burst rip/rake and it goes for 37k rip and 32k rake. Now slow that down with 75% damage reduction but add 20% pvp power. You get around 20k, which is the damage i dealt in cataclysm

Can we actually report spell bugs on the basis of them not working as they were in patch 5.2? I always thought we had just 5.2 (or 5.3?) content, with spell changes/fixes as they were in 5.4.8.

no, i only played feral as my main since i started wow
i know that resto deals damage with that passive, but that is not the subject

the topic is about feral's damage being kind of low comparing to other classes. Balance too but nobody plays it. Feral`s damage in full honor gear doesn't even get past some periodic heals/absorbs

i`m asking other ferals how they do in competition with this damage, although i`ve seen very few
