WoW Freakz spell link: Fire Nova
Bug description: Fire Nova should only affect the targets around the primary target, at the moment it affects also the main target.

Korghal is right, Fire Nova only emits a wave off of a flame shocked target but does not hit that target, so single target means it does 0 damage and shouldn't be used

It will be a waste. It doesn't affect the target that the nova originates from.

Confirm , the explosion never affected the main target since the transition from Fire Nova Totem up to WoD , noted in changelogs aswell

Confirmed, the main target shouldn't recieve any damage.

In 4.1, Fire Nova will be changed to ignite from our Flame Shock.

So as an enhancement shaman, you can use this easily in any add-situation where the adds are near the boss.
Like Mind Sear, it will damage all targets around, but not the target itself.
