Punishment for LFR who dont accept

My idea came after i was requeued dozens of times because some "busy" people didnt accept when it was ready to [Enter Raid] . I thought it would be good if there would a punishment like dungeon deserter. So they learn to pay attention and not hold in place and annoy sometimes 24 other people.
And i talked to some peeps in game on global about this and they agreed with me.

Anyway,share your opinions,and if they are positive,maybe the staff will take care of it. Cheers!

well yea its annoying but i dont really think this is a nice thing to do. Its not like they are doing it on purpose. Yeah sometimes some troll does it, but most of the times its just life. Those people rejoin after anyway.

Although it may be annoying, punishing them for not accepting sounds too radical, we would then have the situation of unsatisfied punished people, so we won't solve too much.

In DotA if you don't accept you get a 10 minute cd for joining. While it is indeed annoying, it makes you ACCEPT if you join! :)

By punishment, it is not really necessary to be something drastic, could be like 1 minute cooldown, so they won't be able to join-decline-join-decline continuously.

Later Edit: Think about this. It is far more annoying for the other 24 people than for the one getting a X minute/s cd.

I think it's not too radical if they get a 5-10 minute cooldown before they can enter again. Not much. Just to stop them doing what Zohlomg said .

Maybe dodging multiples times increase the severity of punishment.

Ex :

1st dodge - 10mins
2nd dodge - 20mins
3rd dodge - 45 mins

this could encourage them to think before queuing .

To avoid punishments, but don't really know if this can be done: A checker to verify if the player is afk when the queue pops up, he would be auto removed from the queue. Or just a deserter debuff for dungeons, but info changed to raid finder.

I don't think that is possible, maybe Shocker could change the minimum player requirements for the raid to get teleported.

Still why would you join if you have a problem irl? Just to make 24 people angry My opinion, they deserve a punishment.

The part with afk i dont like it...because i wait 15-30 mins or more to enter in raid ,but since i know it will take longer than 2,3 mins,i go to kitchen,bathroom,take my kid and play till the window with join will pop up

First dodge - 1 minute
Second dodge - 2 minutes
Third dodge - 3 minutes

The "punishment" does not need to be a huge amount of time. Therefore players won't have a reason to complain because the punishment is reasonable and at the same time it lets other players queue and start the LFR.
