[FIXED] [PvE] [Timeless Isle] Censer of Eternal Agony PvP issues

I'm not quite sure if I'm doing something to provoke this, but is it normal or a bug... for Horde to be able to attack alliance while on Timeless Isle?

Edit: I was not flagged for pvp and did not have http://www.wowhead.com/item=102467/censer-of-eternal-agony to enable me killable. I was questing, killing NPCs.

I don't go into Bgs and don't flag, but they're attacking me as soon as I engage mobs. Any way I can prevent this please?

I know what's likely the problem and I've reported it. It's from the Censer of Eternal Agony.

Thank you. I couldn't figure it out, but it seemed like every time I got a few buffs going and started attacking the mobs (not players), they'd come through and just plow through everyone questing.

No, no, you can attack YOUR and OPPOSITE faction members, the only rule is they have to be flagged for PvP (Censer flags you for PvP automatically on use). So if you're just farming mobs and not flagged for PvP, people with the censer buff can NOT attack and kill you.

Sunblade is correct. The item should only be limited to those who are flagged or those with the item, I had neither.

In fact, I was attacked by the turtles by a horde shaman (who was flagged) as soon as I zoned in from the Flight Master and killed. I thought it was odd but did not post until the group of 5 horde came roaring through the isle, attacking anyone who was questing. I had even flown out of the isle and back to clear the pvp I received but was still killed a few more times last night.

yea i was just attacked while clearly not being in pvp just killing frogs. the buff is suppose to make the caster targetable and not other people targetable. a nasty exploit that ultimately gives pvp guild and groups full reign of timeless isle making it impossible for pve players to do anything. you guys dropped the ball freakz, you basically threw pve players into BGs.

Actually, those that have the buff should be friendly to each other. It's basically a third faction.

Either case, it's still not fixed and people are still running around killing people questing, that aren't flagged. I guess this isn't going to be looked at then and they want to keep Timeless Isle a PvP free for all zone?

Not to mention, but it also compounds itself with other bugs. Today I was killed, I spirit rez'd to avoid being camped. I hearthed to the shrine, somehow I ended up dead with the censer debuff on myself when I zoned in. I released again and wound up in Barrens. -.- Had to website unstuck.

Wish I could say the same. I'm fairly new to the server and needed the gear, but they were camping the smoldering chests today and when I went to loot it (3 items), they killed me and the chest just disappeared before I could even loot.

I give up on that isle.

This place should be mostly for alts and farmers in general. >_> Which makes them easy prey for pvp wolves that hunt in packs. -.-

fix that stupid item or disable it untill u find a way to fix it, it is ridiculous to make a raid for timeless isle, for coins, becouse some idiots cant get enough adrenaline in bgs

Fixed, you can no longer attack players with PvP off (after restart)
