Very low drop rate on world mobs, consider raising the chance to 0.5% because I've spent many hours farming this with no drop and on blizz people get them in like 30 mins.

It also drops wrong recipes for wrong people, i know players who got tailoring recipe for example and they had Blacksmithing.

Drop chance is good enough, I farmed with friend recipes to lw and engi, both dropped after ~1h of farm + bs and tailo recipe. So u must be unlucky.

Drop chance is 0,05%, I farmed for 3 days and no drop so yea it does need an increase.

Confirming what others said: Smart Loot isn't working here. I got the Tailoring recipe after about 3 days of farming, even though I have LW. I'm still to find the LW pattern

Yeh.. there's something definately wrong with the drop chance for the recipes.
I've been farming them on 3 chars since phase 3 went live with no luck.
What should be taken into consideration:
The LW recipe , for example, should only drop for players who have max lw skill - 600
The percentage that we see on wowhead is from all the players who looted a mob and most of them don't have that particular profession
So let's say.. that from all the players who loot a mob who wowhead shows 0.1% chance of dropping a recipe , 10% have that particular profession... than the actual drop chance should be 0.1x10 = 1%
And another factor should be taken into consideration.. if someone has that recipe learned.. then there is a chance it should drop again?

Currently chance is fully random, it doesn't check your skill. But that wouldn't change anything (the smart loot mentioned above). Proof chances should be higher?

those drop chances are calculated depending on the number of times the item was looted by players, so the chance is correct. If nobody is going to bring actual proof I will reject this bug report

The real drop rate is insanely high for tailors.The nominal drop rate is low, because you can't see it one you have it, and non-tailors can't see it at all.
Got the pattern within 2 minutes when it first came out and never since.

It should drop off any mob in Pandaland.
Sometimes is it very quick, first or second kill.
I did the very first LFR raid, and we went in, killed the first mob, and the pattern dropped for me.

gnore the percentages on WoWHead, since they include the number of people who don't find it because they don't have Tailoring. All that's required is you have 600 Tailoring (which you do) and it'll drop from any mob in Pandaria or Pandaren Dungeons.

If you don't get it within the first half hour, try somewhere else. Farming the mobs around Guo-Lai Halls in Vale of Eternal Blossoms should get you the pattern pretty quickly.

it says nothing about drop rates but they all talk about drop in a few minutes, not hours or days as we farm it on freakz

Yeah but think about it..
that dop chance is a percentage of all the loots
And the recipes only drop for players who have max skill in that profession
So the lw recipe, for example, would never drop for someone who doesn't have leatherworking or someone who has lw but has already learned that recipe.

For example
players A,B,C and D all loot the mob x - each 25 times ... total 100 times.
off all the players only A has 600 skill in leatherworking and the lw recipe has a chance only for him to drop
And the lw recipe drops 1 time for player A off all that 25 loots he made

So what is the actual drop chance? 1 out of 25 = 4%
What wowhead would show ? 1 out of 100 = 1% because it calculates the aditional 25+25+25 loots of players B,C and D

that chance it's calculated based on times looted by all players compared to kills, but that formula it's a bit tricky cuz it doesn't check if the player has or not 600 skill. Since i`v noticed in one comments on wowhead that a random player has killed mobs for a few days and after he realised he had 587 skill and raise it to 600 after a few kills ( not 100 ) he got the recipe, i think something it's wrong on the server.
