Bug description: The quest log is still on 0/1 3000 Valor,but the quest valor traker is 3000/3000.

Do you still have 3000/3000 valor points? If yes abandon and then reacquire the quest.

Now i have 2845/3000 valor cause i used some valor last week in order to upgrade 2 items

Reach 3000 VP again and if you cannot complete it, abandon and pick it up again.

I did it and nothing happened,still 0/1 3000

Abandon the quest, take it again, and WHILE you have the quest, reach 3000 valor.

you dont need to have 3k valor on you to finish it you only need the achievement to hit 3000/3000

And I am telling you to that the quest is not bugged, it just does not work as it said to work on WoWhead.

If you want to finish the quest, you do just like DeParanoia said:
- you reach just under 3000 valor (around 2900);
- take the quest before you reach 3000 valor;
- you reach 3000 valor -> quest gets completed.

Try that. I've tested it countless time like that and it works.

Well if the quest does not work as it should work what do you call it then if not bugged?

By running a

/run print(GetAchievementCriteriaInfo(8031,1))

( or 8030 for alliance "A Test of Valor" achievement ), it can be noticed the response is

A Test of Valor [Horde] 0 false 3000 300000 nil 1 0 3000 / 3000 0 true

The 3000/3000 seems to not be registering properly for players, I assume due to the fact that the counter should activate tracking Valor Points only when on the "A Test of Valor" quest is pulled/in the journal. So it would need fixing to track total Valor points under the A Test of Valor quest, and award completion when achievement is gained, so we could also spend the Valor Points gained, instead of needing a 3000/3000 cap, unneeded on Blizzard as per that achievement counter.

((I assume Valor points are stored *100 ? ))

I just completed the quest. AFTER RELOGGING. No need to abandon the quest. If you have 3000/3000 simply relog.
