Best professions for a DK?

Well as the title say, what are the best professions for a DK? I'd say engineering, what do you think?

Depends on a role i'd say. If dps, engineering/tailoring is best in my opinion. However, if you are going tank, blacksmithing with combination of inscription/alchemy/jwlc is better choice if you ask me.

I also reccomend engineering and tailoring - I'm not that big of a profession guy but you can get some nice bonuses and utility skills from them, like the cloak & hands DPS enchants or the gliders / parachute that you can use in battlegrounds.

I got engineering and I am about to get mining as second because I need resources for engineering... right? I can't have all three of them..

If you have a lot of money then you might as well get both and buy the resources from the Auction House. If not, taking mining is your best bet.

I'm not the best at making gold - you can go ahead and farm for epics on the Timeless Isle and sell those (for as much as 1k gold a piece - they drop pretty quickly anyway), or you can sell resources to people leveling up their professions. Perhaps you can level up a less pricey profession like alchemy with herbalism and make some quick money from selling consumables to PvErs (professions always get you a lot of gold). Then, you can abandon it and pick the desired one.

You can also level up an alt just for gathering professions such as mining and herbalism.
