I know lots of you were complaining about visibility distance being too small on our server. Because of reasons I didn't increase it until now, but I just did it. Can I get some feedback? Any issues? Any performance changes (interested if it's worse @ performance)

The increase in visibility range is welcomed in my opinnion.
Since the implementation i had an easier time searching for quest items/objects and generally it's esthetically pleasant.

The only places where this caused a bit of a performance loss was in the capital cities (but i think that was to be expected since most playerbase spends their time there).

The difference is negligible (when you exclude busy areas like cities).
However when switching zones there's a short (about a second) freeze because (from what I can tell) every creature\object is respawned either because every zone is in a different phase or some server-side hack that aimed to reduce overall latency. It also causes false alerts on addons like NPCScan and in some cases the passenger on your mount gets ejected when moving across zones.

Intended from our custom zones phasing, unfortunately it will remain like this because the performance boost is much bigger than the discomfort caused by this.
