I researched this it should give the stats for dps spec but it should not proc(you can equip bouth as a dps and as a healer)i'll edit my post later to add the blizz topics if need be.

I read this on http://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/9963876348 And it's is actually saying that a Flame shock can proc the trincket. so if we are thinking about monk mistweaver and disci priest which does continuous dmg on targets . I don't know about the dps situation but i don'r think it's normal to proc as he say : " Both of the passive amp effects will work but the Prismatic Prison of Pride won't proc as Elemental. Losing out on this proc makes it worse than the other caster dps trinkets."

This is weird. Anyway, it's not abot the proc so much as it is for the increased stats. " So it doesn't proc on spells but it procs on melle attacks. As it is said in Trinket description : "Equip: Your attacks have a chance to grant 620 Intellect for 20 sec. (15% chance, 115 sec cooldown)". So as you can see on Monk Mistweaver , Purified Bindings of Immerseus will proc.[/b]

There is one, that one you are using is the dps version. It will only proc for dps specced casters. The healing one procs on heals, and will only proc for healing specs.

I don't know on what Battle.net you read that Shamans can procc it with Flame Shock, cause it ain't in the source you provided.
Discipline will NOT procc it with damage, same for Mistweavers.

Oh yeah, this link http://us.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/10311881474 , not that one . Don't know if that true but about the Monk and the melee attack i'm 100% sure .

I bring this as a proff and you can't deny it.

So many ignorant and incorrect posts.

* The caster amplify trinket and the healer amplify trinket DO STACK.
* For a healer, the caster amp trinket does NOT proc off spells.
* For a healer, the caster amp trinket DOES proc off melee attacks.

Ergo: this trinket is only viable for MONK healers. As they regularly melee attack as a healer. Any other healer, you should be looking at something else. This discussion being about a druid: he should go die in a fire and have given that trinket to the mage.

So if you can see there Purified Bindings of Immerseus it's only viable for monks mistweaver, 'cause of Fistweaving. You won't see a druid or a shaman do and hit the boss with a staff. The trinket doesn't proc from Spells. I think it's enough info to know how the trinket procs.
