A question regarding Legion's new realm.

Hello,

Since the almighty Freakz team have announced the opening of the new Legion's realm and i've been really excited as they own the BEST MoP server around, but ofcourse, excitement comes with curiosity. And what i'm curious about is the state of the zones in the upcoming realm, are old expacs' zones scripted (Vanilla, TBC, WoTLK, Cata, MoP, WoD) or only Legion's zones, the broken isles.

Even though the priority will be the Legion areas, the other zones will be definately implemented. We're looking forward for an integral Warcraft experience for our players.

Legion is a upgrade of the current server, I think the new realm will have all the old content from MoP era + wod and legion zones.
Well, that's what I understand from this phrase : "1. Most WoD/Legion mechanics are fixed (Demon Hunters, Artifact system, Garrisons & Class Order Halls, Premade groups, Honor system, PvP stats scaling, World scaling, Vignettes, blizzlike quests, etc)"
I'm 99% sure the old content like Vanilla, TBC, WotLK, Cata and MoP will be the same as it is now and most of them are working, except the WoD raids obvs, idk if wod raids will be avaible in the first weeks, but they will implement them in time, I think devs will focus first on Legion content, class mechanics, quests etc. and after that they will fix and wod raids, like always

Well that brings an another story. I don't know to exactly explain it but is it possible to upgrade an expansion's realm to a new expansion?

Idk really good how is working, but I think probably yes.
When was the upgrade cata->mop, the mop realm still had the old cata content and they developed more old raids in time.

Yes. We first started as an WOTLK server. I still have my chars since WOTLK.

So does that mean that Legion's realm will be an upgraded MoP realm? but with.. Legion and WoD content ofcourse.

Erm...this time no.

Shocker stated in his announcement that we will keep both Mists of Pandaria and Legion realms.

The Legion realm will come with a fresh start, players starting from level 1.

Yes i do understand that but what i meant is that the actual realm will be an upgraded realm from MoP, meaning there would be no need to script and fix what has been scripted and fixed in MoP already.

Oh, sorry about the misunderstanding. Of course we will port the MoP fixes on the Legion realm. Basically it will be an upgrade.
