Bug description: objective is not spawned. so you cant find any ancestor's totem and complete the quest

This quest does work, there is a cave underneath the village and the totem is inside it. I too had thought it was where you were standing [in the screenshot] until I re-read the quest description.

ah yes. i did not see the cave. it's working.
