If you were disconnected from MoP, check your realmlist, your launcher, and the read-only property of the data folder (which must be disabled). If you got this issue on Legion then have a look here.

just made an account, downloaded the game. trying to log on right now. Website says Genysis is up, on the game opens fine and tells me its offline rn

edit: changed the realmlist from ".ro" at the end to ".com" as it is on your homepage. Now its telling me to convert my account to a battle.net account

Hey , Hope youre having a good day. i downloaded the game from your torrentz link and i keep getting this error. im not sure what to do, any help would be nice.

Hello People!

I downloaded the torrent, I also unchecked the read-only on the WTF Config file.
But when I try to start up wow.exe or the launcher_freakz it gives me this error I never seen before and never had.
Right now I can't find the option to add a file to this reply >.>, so if someone can tell me that, would be gr8!

Complete and utter newbie here.. played this game 6 years ago and I haven't got the foggiest of how to go about downloading/installing again. I tried using the guides, installing both the WoWFreakz torrent and the client from Blizzard but nothing seems to be working. I've uninstalled everything, deleted everything and I'm starting fresh. How do I go about downloading/installing fresh? With no WoW files at all? Do I need to purchase the disks first and go BC -> wotlk -> cataclysm -> mop? Or is there an alternative way? I am completely inept with tech though so please use 'installing WoW for idiots' language. Or if someone could PM me and talk me through the download and installation process. Thanks in advance!

You need to remove the READ ONLY attribute from the Data folder.

I suggest to download the torrent again in a new folder, add the launcher, remove the read-only from the data folder and open launcher_freakz.exe.

Righty ho! So once I download this file into my downloads folder, do I need to transfer it to my Programme Files x86? Or is it able to stay in my downloads? And once I have downloaded the launcher, do I transfer all of the files from that download into the torrented file for the game, or just the launcher itself? Sorry for the million-and-one questions. Thank you!
