yes a was talking about melee hit , i looked into quite a few videos and clones hit all time with melee

They can miss, since you miss with your auto they should do as well, and Solastrian just linked you a photo from retail, another good proof other than that you can't find.

It's even say that "spell", always hit are for spells, not for melle, since melle attacks now can miss.
