Bug description: Well i know you said several times ignite works fine etc, all i ask you is just to check one more time, cause clearly Ignite is not working fine. Why am i saying that? Because i checked warcraftlogs, and at Nythendra logs for fire mages looks like the one in the link below, 619k ignite critical hit at 887 ilvl. On freakz we cant reach an ignite higher than 300k on single target, and i ask all mages who play fire to say smth if i am wrong. Now i know we play on 7.1.5. not 7.03., but ignite wasnt nerfed or smth...

There is no 619k critical hit in that log at all. You're looking at the wrong column. Check min-max-avg columns to see what was ignite's max in that log

Please do when you have time. You know i'm not talking sh*t. Let's say i'm idiot and i don't know to play fire mage. But i refuse to accept that on freakz there is no good fire mage on single target.

Can you also please look more into ignite spreaing on AoE?
This is not the best example i have, because it was a rather low key, but as you can see ignite is way down there when it should be on one of the top spots, especially on big pulls: http://i.imgur.com/Nhu1o8C.jpg

More than once I finished a dungeon with Ignite damage under one of my trinkets, and that shouldn't be happening. If you want I can help you test. At the moment there is no spot for reliable aoe testing.

Is it not possible to make cinderstorm refresh ignite just once for the sum of all cinders dmg on that specific target instead of being refreshed 5 times for example if all 5 cinders hit the target? Its the only extreme case of rapid ignite refresh in basically 0 ms time, isnt that what caused the problem?

And if we dont use cinderstorm, how do you explain the low ignite? or bad spread?

he recently modified something @ ignite to prevent cinderstorm problems (again) so thats why ignite dropped (again) he even said it in the previous *ignite exploit* topic. if he can do what i proposed for cinderstorm he can revert ignite back to it's previous state. Anyway lets just wait and see maybe he can find something on retail...

Maybe you are right. He can try do this and see if smth will change.
So you confirm too that ignite is not working fine

Or maybe revert back to the old Ignite and disable Cinderstorm 'till you figure out a better solution. I would much rather have the old Ignite and no Cinderstorm than what we have now. AoE is somewhat ok, could be better, but single target is a joke, it's not acceptable for an 887 ilvl fire mage to do under 400k dps on single.

Believe it or not, I think I finally managed to make it entirely blizzlike. I rewrote all the calculations, using a completely different approach, I'm getting the same numbers as I do on retail -
