What do you mean by "closing the game" ? If you shut it down or used alt + f4 combo, it's normal that it didn't retain the changes.

You need to make a regular disconnection in order to save them.

Even with a regular disconnection , the changes not remain .. or maybe i dont know the regular disconnection , but i remember , when i was playing on Pandaria and close the game or even shoting down the pc by button the changes still remained..

You have to make sure your WTF folder in your legion installation is uncheck at "read only". If your operating doesn't retain the change, move your wow client elswhere, you may have installed in a specific area where files' permissions must be "read only".

I thought that data folder must be unchecked at readonly , i will try with WTF folder , and btw , my client is in Download folder , C partition , maybe that is a problem .. where do you have it ?
