You need to remove the READ ONLY attribute from the Data folder

The issue is with the host. If you try to connect with your browser to that url http://cdn-wow.freakz.ro/version/EUwow/23420 u'll see that host server is down.

The issue is on server side. Even if you re-download 50 gbs of client there wont be a solution. All we have to do is wait till they fix it.

It works fine for this error to reapply the launcher in your game folder.

I just did that and it worked. Redownload the launcher and extract it in your wow folder. Everything seems ok now.

Tried it also. This doesnt seem like a logical solution. The launcher files werent updated. And the issue has networking nature.

I have overwritten the old launcher files and now it works.
