At this moment, all channeling spells gets intrerupted when you use any non-GCD ability/item ( like "on use items" )
Overlapping/using non-GCD ability/on use item after you started a channeling spell is same like using a GCD ability while channeling.

As an example - Druid's Prowl ( non GCD ability ) - if you use Prown while channeling Tranqility ofc your channel will get intrerupted and you will go in stealth.

I dont know if this should work the same for "on use items", but my guess is that it should.
In case you bring no proffs that "On use Items" should NOT intrerupt channeling untill tomorrow's evening, i will reject this bug report.

It should get cancelled if you activate any trinket.
