Bug description: If the target already haves chains of ice applied, Death Grip only roots the target in place instead of gripping the target and rooting them near the caster

I think is not a bug, if a target is rooted, you are not suppose to grip it. Do you have any blizzard proof regarding this ?

i dont have a personal video but i tested it on friends retail account and seen it on youtube random pvp videos

he meant:

which is wrong, because death grip should FIRST, pull the target, and then apply chains of ice.

currently, death grip applies chains of ice to the snared enemy and therefor, roots it.

and since grip does not work on rooted targets, we basically cant deathgrip a target that is already slowed by chains of ice.

Confirming this. Death Grip should first pull the target, then root it.
