I also had same issue, but abandoning the quest and re accepting it fixed it for me

I can't obtain the clue #4. I've tried to abandon and re-take but it did not work.
I've used a lot of my gold (something like 100 times 2 copper xD) and i can tell you that this quest is bugged.

The "clues", just for the sake of information, are as follows:

#1:
Listen, pal. I don't want any trouble, ok? I didn't see who murdered 'em, but I sure heard it! Lots of yelling. Human voices... you dig? Now get out of here before I change my mind about beating you up and takin' your shoes.
#2:
I didn't see who killed 'm, bub/sis, but I got a whiff. Smelled rich, kinda like you. Damn shame too. Furlbrows were a fixture around here. Nice people, always willin' to share a meal or a patch of dirt.
#3:
Who killed the Furlbrows? I'll tell you who killed the Furlbrows: KING VARIAN WRYNN. THAT'S WHO! And he's killin' the rest of us too. One bum at a time. The only thing I can tell you is that I saw some gnolls leavin' the place a few hours before the law arrived.
#4:
Between you, me, and the tree, murlocs killed the Furlbrows. Yep, saw 'em with my own two eyes. Think they'd been casin' the joint for days, maybe months. They left in a hurry once they got wind of "Johnny Law" and the idiot brigade over there...

Instead, we get #1, #2 and #3 with (the originals) #1, #4 and #3. When the NPCs tell us #2, we do not get any credit.

Idk how you could've completed it when on quest link - https://www.wow-freakz.com/quest_helper.php?quest=26209&&name=murder-was-the-case-that-they-gave-me it clearly says that 0 players on Felsong realm completed it. As quest completed counter has yet to report false, I'm accusing you of plain lying. I've tried to do this quest on multiple alts more then once, and not once did I manage to proceed further then obtaining clue #3. Almost every day someone on global asks if this quest is bugged, and not one player provided solution how to complete it.

P.S. When npc turn aggressive they are un-attackable, which shouldn't be the case.
P.P.S. Also, this quest should be Alliance only (http://www.wowhead.com/quest=26209/murder-was-the-case-that-they-gave-me)

This quest is still bugged, 0 users have completed it. The system is showing clues 1 2 and 3 complete, but 4 not completed.

Adding on to this, when the NPCs try to attack you, you cant fight back.

Like the all the above, Clue #4 is bugged and when the NPC's attack you can't fight back.
Another note, if you pick the option "Did you see who killed the furlbrowl?" first then nothing will happen and the option to pay for info with copper will also be bugged because clicking on it won't work either unless you exit the conversation
