Unholy DK in pve

im curious reason why UH dk dps is so crap right now, the gap with frost spec is very wide
is it because UH dk sucks in legion ?
or is there bug / sth that makes UH dk does crap dps on this server ?

If u checked unh pve on youtube on 7,1,5 you will see that its almost recking the recount,but unfortunate on this server there are multiple problems on unh pve and pvp.

Unholy damage is based a lot on pets and the pet system not really working now .. hopefully they will fix it next patch as frost will not be so good in 7.2 tomb of sargers and who plays dk
will be disadvantaged if we need to stick frost. However if they decied to relase 7.3.5 with 7.2 content and go progressively then frost will be better choice due to 7.3 spell mechanics.

This is the information that I was looking for. First, the confirmation that Pet System is not working as it should be, my main is a demonology warlock but it really has a poor dps; no matter how much ilvl I have, I'll do more in destro or afflic (is the opposite in Blizzard). And is glad to hear that Pet System will be fixed because I also use unh dk. Could you make us to know how and why the Pet System is not working, why it hasn't been fixed yet and how they have planned to do it so?

The main reason is that pets die often or get bugged in textures. That pet related bugs are posted so we need to wait for devs to fix it.

And no on Nighthold patch the 7.1.5 one, Unholy was inferior to Frost so it definitely could not be at top of the recounts. But yes it does lower dps here than it should do. Tomb of Sargeras Unholy is top not now.

The thing is, unholy this patch was like in top 7-8 dps spot,it had allmost the lowest dps until ebon fever got buffed, but the dps on retail was a little bit higher ,like +80k - 120k dps higher. I tested the dps here with 34.5k strenght, 98%mastery, 20%haste and in the burst the dps not even got to 1mil dps, and the constant dps was 540k dps without any food buff or potion.

if u sure dps on retail is higher, there r must be some bugs that reduce uh dps in freakz

Anyway, for now unholy is not worth it to roll on until 7.2.5 where DA will get a nice buff, until then we are litteraly forced to play on frost.

The pet used to get killed in every dungeon but recently they fixed some aoe spells from adds/bosses against pets
