Goblin Starter Quests

I started a new Goblin, but I only was able to do the first few starter quests. The quest, "Rolling With My Homies" cannot be completed as the passengers do not get in the car. Other quests do not appear.

Is there any way to complete this quest and continue the chain for Kezan, or is this quest the reason there's a portal to Orgrimmar right next to the pool?

UPDATE:

Got the quest to work. Had to get out of the car and talk to them to pick them up.

However, I'm told that you still can't get all the way through Kezan without hitting a dead end with the quests. Is this true?
