Ai-LI's Skymirror not castable on self

Bug description:
Ai-Li's Skymirror a toy which makes the caster take on the appearance of target player for 10 mins doesn't seem to be castable on self.
It's a shame as it's main use IS to use it on one's self when using other disguises which break on combat where this doesn't.

Some information about this toy:

Has a duration of 10 minutes, with a 1 hour cooldown.

Works on yourself or your party/raid members.

Persists through combat.

Can be used to transmog legendaries! To do that:

1. Equip your desired legendaries
2. Use the mirror on yourself
3. Put on your normal items again...you will still be shown wearing your legendaries! It only works for 10 minutes, but its a neat little trick.

I've been looking for other sources of proof for some time now and i haven't been able to find any , could you please bring some more proof on this matter ?

if you need proof of me not being able to use it then that's it up there
(pc can't handle video capturing nor will i prob be able to upload it on youtube or something)
