Feel like I need to say a word or two.

Hello. I'm Domsa. I have been playing on here for the past what 3,4 years? Can't really remember when they wen't out with the first MoP patch.

Alot of stuff has happened since then. Alot of people came and went. Alot of friendships were made and alot of guilds broke up. That's what time does i guess.

Now to get to the point. Why am I even posting stuff on here? As you could tell, this is a post about 7.2.5 . Not really complaining about it but just sorta saying what i think.

I've been playing legion on freakz since before they began working on the Nighthold raid (correct me if I'm wrong about some stuff, can't really remember) , and everytime a "big" fix came to the game they would announce it appropriately. If anyone remembers, the patch 5.1 that came was announced 2 months before they released it, and they stuck to the scedule as they should've.Same with 5.2. Patch 5.4? Announced, released on time.

Why am I even bringing this up? These patches were not released in perfect state. They had a good sum of bugs. But they were released as stated by a scedulated date. Now what I believe that the staff is doing, is trying to release 7.2.5 in an allmost perfect state. Which in my mind, should never be done without a set date.

For more than half a year what i've been hearing is SOON! And we've been getting nothing else but SOON! No one wants to hear those words. If someone is doing something for you what do you want to hear, yeah we are fixing your car and you'll get it back SOON! . Sorry, wanted to put in a joke.

The fact is, we still have no idea when we're getting the new patch, in what state is the new content, or how many people are even working on it.

In my mind they should've done it like this: You guys don't know when you're going to release the new content?
It's allright. Show us/ tell us where you are right now. How far have you come, what's keeping you back and what isn't. That is what you call dev trackers. That's how you keep contact with your playerbase. In the situation we are right now, the main problem is is that there was no communication between the players and the devs.

I'm not trying to offend anyone here. Far from it, I'm trying to maybe ease up the situation. The only thing you hear in global chat is people memeing about the situation. That is why the forums exist here. I know the devs/GMs are doing their best. It is not easy to fix this much stuff. But the players are getting aggravated. Everyone is anonymous. When people are hidden they tend to do stuff they normaly wouldn't. Meaning they do stupid shit.

The moral of this post is, look, we also want what you guys want. We want to see the new content released just as much as you do. But we, as the players, NEED to know some stuff about how your progress is going, how you've been, if something has changed or not. I atleast hope it gets released before christmas

let´s just hope its for real this time. we havent forgotten that it was also Shockeru who said in global chat around july, and i quote "Before summer ends, we will have new patch"

Since we've been patient for this long, waiting for another week or two I suppose is definitely worth it. I have 0 doubts when it comes to Freakz Team and I'm sure they'll provide us with great experience in 7.2.5. No matter how long it takes. Be patient. It's coming!

I look forward to the release. I am fairly new here so maybe my patience is greater and I have a longer fuse with the Staff team. I would like to bring up a few things that might get forgotten when excitement for new content is promised:

Life happens - real life could pose challenges in getting new content out
Their doing this on their own time: While I have donated and understand others donate, the staff do this on their own time and do not necessarily get paid gobs of money to keep them motivated to bring content.

If they release early and its broken, people would complain about that as well, so it seems wiser to take the time to ensure a larger percentage of the new content works vise releaseing more content that could be potentially broken.

Every time the staff stop to bring us a update or status: takes them away form doing work on the content.

dunno man,but i have a feeling that this patch will have a total different opening than any other patch implemented on this server,its a good feeling,it was the first time Shockeru said that will be epic,and i think it will.But i have to ask the GMs regarding the PVP,the last few years the PVP here slowly died,we remained a small group that loves pvp and i would really like if the GM’s will pay attention whenever a pro pvp player finds and issue,in this way it will build a repationship between GMs and players for the greater good of PVP and not spitting in the faces of pvp players and saying that they suck when they find gamebreaking bugs regarding pvp.Maybe in this way the pvp community will rise again as it was on Cata or LK.
