That's not correct, that was a catch-up mechanic implemented before 7.3 was released. Artifact Knowledge research is fine how it is now.

No you are totally wrong! You say its catch up for 7.3??? They implemented that "hotfix" with "artifact research duration" right after 7.2.5 release in Juny, 4 days before ToS opened! Its for ToS and 7.2.5 and not for 7.3 which released end of August after ToS! If it would be for 7.3 then they would implemented it "after" ToS all Bosses released and right before launch of 7.3! Please dont confuse people if you dont know it! Your logic doesnt make any sense. Thanks.

You don't understand , this change was solely made to be a 7.3.0 catch up mechanic . I don't think having AK knowledge capped in less than a week is something that should be encouraged on a patch that will probably last another year ( or close ) .

Oh my god. Noone makes a fix for future patch that have so much meaning in actual patch! Ok do you think Blizzard are full idiots and they made this patch before ToS raid opened normal, heroic, mythic because they knew it would not matter at all for ToS progress? Because raids with people on artifact knowledge(AK) 10 or AK 40 are same??? In other words someone with similar gear but with Artifact Power(AP) level 26 and someone with Ap 40 would do same dps, can both do easy endgame mythic raid??? Or do we rather belive that Blizzard knew it and they "WANTED" that people come to a level where "they are be able" to progress in Tomb of Sargeras 7.2.5 (normal and hc mode first) one week before they opened the raid door?! They created the difficulty of the raid bosses calculating peoples abilities and gear and AP.
You are saying fix is for 7.3 so it would not matter for ToS raid at all? The answer is "offcourse NO"! This "artifact research HOTFIX" before ToS raid opened was really important to be live before the raid and totally intended. And if they wanted for people to catch up for 7.3 they could easy drop it after ToS raid it would still have few months to learn new AK and farm AP before 7.3 would goes live. What has more logic behind it? I think responsible Gm will decide.

If you still have PROOF that Blizzard wanted THIS to be a 7.3 mecanic thats why they implemented it implicitly RIGHT BEFORE ToS raid arrived and before mythic 15+ dungeons gear drop update please let us know! If Blizzard would intend to release something for the future update and what would "NOT HAVE" that big meaning for current patch I totally agree. It would be logicly aswell.

If freakz team decide to be different from 7.2.5 retail then so be it. Sorry for that detailed explanation and thinking in a bug report. I hope i dont overextended it and you understand it more.
