Bug description: among the many visual bugs for this item (after dismounting you still a dragon, when mounted the swords are on the saddle) you also can't mount 2 people on this mount because the other player just falls off when you start flying
seems to happen when phase from zone to zone

Actually it's not specific to sandstone drake. Changing zones breaks follow too. It happens because each zone appears to have it's own visiblity-field (you can't see what's in the other zone until you enter it) which is the most visible in dalaran - even if you approach the well in front of horde bank you will lose sight of all other players. When two players enter another zone it takes a moment for them to receive information about what is in that zone - effectively "disconnecting" the two players which in turn breaks follow or mount-up (because for a moment there is nothing to follow or fly on).
