Hello, I was wondering if the client that was provided for the PTR and the one in the connection guide is the same; I have the PTR client and if it is the same I would like to avoid downloading it twice.

Also, I have a question with the new PvP season, is it only for arenas or can you also get gear in BG?

Hello.
You can read on how to update from 7.2.5 or download a full 7.3.5 client from here.
About the PvP gear, you can get PvP items from random battlegrounds as well as arenas.
