Bug description: As you can see after 2 strikes of Chaos Strike, Chaotic Onslaught proc but with less dmg than any normal Chaos Strike. There is no hotfix during 7.3.5 which says that Chaotic Onslaught trait should do less dmg than Chaos Strike spell.

Hey! I think you are not correct here. Main hand hit is doing more dmg than the off-hand hit and both are equal to the tooltip dmg. When chaotic onslaught procs you see main hand procs one after another in combat log, then you see off-hand procs with lower value. For example here i got double chain procs:

Never test on crits, test on normal dmg pls. For my perspective is not valid at all your screenshot.

This is not a reply especially to you because you do not understand that I have put the problem for normal dmg / base dmg. And from your combat log, you have 6x Chaos Strikes, I don't know if it's a person who can figure it out which are primary Chaos Strikes and which are from Chaotic Onslaught.

On topic: I test it again with 0 items, only weapon and 0 buffs. Dmg from Chaotic Onslaught is never around the primary Chaos Strike normal dmg.

maybe i explained it bad... hope this is better:

The sequence of the damage goes main hand+main hand and then off hand+off hand.
So you have mistaken the off hand damage, for the replica of the initial chaos strike.

The previous comments also explained it pretty much thoroughly, but here's the summary:



The first two hits (88,207 and 83,202) were both coming from main hand and the second two hits (71,180 and 63,358) from off hand, with Chaotic Onslaught going off usually 0.5 sec after the main cast.
