[REJECTED] [Suramar City] Vanthir is bugged and i cant continue the questline

Bug description: because i cant see the quest itself i cant post a link to it but it was maybe after https://www.wow-freakz.com/quest_helper.php?quest=44084&&name=vengeance-for-margaux or somewhat farther. when i first tried to talk with Vanthir i couldnt do anything. after talking to him im unable to interact with anything. cant talk to NPCs and cant use chat, i cant even log out. i cant take the quest from Vanthir so it has become an issue since without taking the quest i cant continue the questline and everytime i talk to him i will need to use unstuck from website to be able to interact with Npcs/people. since a screenshot wouldnt prove much i ploaded a video of me trying to Vanthir and the aftermath. ive already tried using catch and unstuck and tried talking to him dozens of times in hopes of it being a passing problem but its not. it would really be helpful if it was fixed. ive provided the youtube link below

I couldn't reproduce the issue you're having. Besides using the unstuck option, please also try to delete your cache and use the unstuck option again. It could be, that the buff you have from the Neural Silencer caused the bug somehow as well. So firstly, try to cancel the buff. Then delete cache and unstuck and see if you can interact with the NPC properly. My guess is that you've done the quest Seek the Unsavory and that now you need to pick up Hired Help from Vanthir. I checked both of those quests, along with Vengeance for Margaux and they worked fine.

that buff is recent and has to connection to this because ive been having this issue for like 3 days and got this buff today so they are not connected and as i have said ive tried deleting cache and unstuck a few times (bad grammer in the first post, sorry) but to no avail, thats why ive made a post here

So it only happens with this NPC? Your character works fine in interaction with any other NPC?

in general yes i have no problem interacting with NPCs but after i talk to him i cant interact with anyone.

oh btw i looked at the quest you mentioned and i remembered that i had killed the Overseer as well so the quest i need to take should be farther along the road than https://www.wow-freakz.com/quest_helper.php?quest=42841&&name=a-big-score and https://www.wow-freakz.com/quest_helper.php?quest=43352&&name=asset-security

Those quests don't start from that NPC. They start from Arluin. So please go to that NPC and check. Other than that, the issue you have with Vanthir could be caused by some AddOn as well, or outdated WTF files. Make sure they are up to date or try to clear them along with disabling AddOns if the issue continues.

Also if you're unsure which quests you're doing and where you're currently at, check this post. At the very bottom of it, you can find a guide on how to use a macro to track down your quests. Use the ID's from our database and you will be able to find out which quests you completed and which ones you haven't.

If you still encounter issues with the NPC's, then please make an ingame ticket and ask for quest complete.
