Hello.Since there have been a post about aura effects few days ago i decided to ask a question myself(i could very well be wrong).I kept looking through different melee specs,cause we gonna talk about melee specs,and i kept noticed how different the aura effects are.If someone could explain me why do they differ?Like why some specs have crucible proc traits with -value% aura effects and why some dont?Or why some melee trinkets(moonglaives,specter of betrayal,gorshalach,cinder,toxin,forgefiend's fabricator,seeping scourgewing,khazgoroth,golganneth) have -value%(and again only some have those while some dont and the values do differ from spec to spec)?As i said,i might very well be wrong and even tho i tried to do some research i couldnt find an answer.On first look it doesnt make any sense since they all are on the melee loot table so the -value% aura effect shouldnt apply like for ranged trinkets.And as i said,they differ alot,like some specs have alot of aura effects and some have close to none.Most tos trinkets,at least if we take it by this effect aura seem to be nerfed but i didnt find any nerf whatsoever applied to tos trinkets on 7.3 release/patch notes.Lets take unholy for example,almost every shadow dmg trinket or trait has -value%.Cause they scale better with shadow dmg than the rest?This is how the spec was designed,i dont see the point.And again,i could very well be wrong about all of this but i was curious and had to ask.

Edit : The main question would be,why some aura modifiers for some classes and why others dont?Why would warr get -value% effect aura on literally everyhthing,crucible or even non-warrior trinkets ?Why would unh get -value% on shadow crucible procs and shadow dmg trinkets?Why wouldnt this affect sp or aflli in the same way?Why doesnt ret have the same for infusion of the light and secure in the light since both are holy dmg?Why wouldnt monks or rogues receive the same -value% effect aura on trinkets like warrs cause they are not scaling with neither of those either.(ex:shattering moonglaives does 4.5m on ww while on warrs it does 2.4,how is it warrs have that but monks shouldnt?)Like i get it,if u try to balance to blizz dmg through aura effects,but if this is it then do it for everybody.

First of all Freakz applying "custom auras" to balance the classes is false,since this is not something devs would do,these are retail values.I don't really care why blizzard decided to add -percentage to warriors and not paladins,probably because warr has higher value out of all dmg trinkets compared to paladin for example.

But lets look what simcraft has to say:

Ret aura Effect #10=Freakz effect #9

Ret aura effect #11 = Freakz Effect #10

You can see effects are exactly the same as on retail,also your question if dk has shadow dmg trinkets reduction and paladin doesn't for holy dmg ,the reason blizzard probably did this is because shadow damage is modified by dk's mastery ,and paladins don't have a holy damage modifier hence no need to nerf holy damage things in the game for them.

Ty for the answer and i apologize,i didnt wanna make any assumptions,was just an idea.On first look and compared.to live dmg somehow i felt some auras are weird and this is why in wanted to ask why.But blizzard knows better why i guess.

If you ever have any assumptions that one of these auras has wrong effect beside Windwalker one displayed 9% for player and staff can only see its 26%,you can report it on forum and some Class mod should check it but from experience 99% of them work fine with minor fixes that are already applied so there shouldn't be any mistakes in them.
