Bug description: It can currently target all the players in the raid, including melee, and it should only go on ranged players.

Confirmed, here some offy progres log, the dmg on mele by pulse granade is only occasinal, caused by contant with caster affected by pulse granade:

Sleep Canister targets melee and pulse grenades combine with sleep in melee ,making too hard to pass first phase without someone dying

It doesnt target meele ,but when half raid is dead it targets meele also.

probably it's right, look at this log (offy progress log), at the end of the boss also melee are targheted by emp pulse granade:

3) log3

It already works this way.

If ranged classes are alive on the fight, they will always be prioritized for the Empowered Pulse Grenade.

If melee couldn't get hit by the spell, you'd neglect an entire boss mechanic, and that makes no sense at all.


Normality is a paved road: It's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it.

The empowered pulse grenades target ranged players only until phase 5. In the final phase, it targets melee players even though u have alot of ranges alive which didn't have it already and this causes that player to throw all other players around and since the enrage timer is already about to go off at that point and if the empowered pulse grenade carrier melee throws another player into a person with sleep canister, it will surely put alot of members to sleep and will lead to a wipe.

It is similar to the empowered shrapnel blast bug, in it, it won't do anything in 4th phase but will hit players in phase 5.
