Bug description: The legendary currently does not extend the duration of Serenity, most likely because the spell causes all chi spenders to be free therefore the legendary is not properly accounted for.

Have a WA and you can see the duration I end up is much longer than 8 seconds.
Keep in mind that the increase is for every chi spender used and not every chi that the ability costs so the increase is much smaller than with clones

If the item bonus worked the way you described you would be able to keep up serenity for the whole duration for the combat.

Item bonus effect is nerfed for serenity. Here is a full description.
