"There is a problem launching wow-exe, make sure this launcher is in your wow directory"

I'm getting this error:
"There is a problem launching wow-exe, make sure this launcher is in your wow directory" I have tried putting the files into my wow directory and even in to my wow-freakz folder that I created a while back. No matter what I do, I get this error message. Is there a fix for it? What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

This happens because your anti-virus has damaged the freakz_837.exe.

To fix this, first make sure to allow it to be run/allowed to connect ot the internet by the anti-virus.

Then, redownload the launcher from the connection guide: https://forum.wow-freakz.com/BATTLE-FOR-AZEROTH-Connection-Guide-t593665.html (Method 2)

Copy the launcher files into your WoW client, then run it.

The only anti-virus I have is malwarebytes. I turned it off and re-downloaded the launcher and the .dll files. I still have the same issue.
